Local rules for the Marbæk course:
White stakes: Out of bounds
Yellow stakes: water hazard
Red stakes: : Lateral water hazard
Blue stakes: Ground Under Repair
Blue stakes m. Black top: Ground Under Repair – Play Prohibited
Information and reference signs, 150 m markings and yellow, red and blue stakes are immovable obstructions. Rule 24-2.
White stakes signaling out of bounds between holes 4 and 5 only apply when playing the 4th hole. When playing the 5th hole, the white stakes are immovable obstructions. Rule 24-2.
All roads and paths are integral parts of the course.
For all rounds played on Esbjerg Golf Club’s courses, unless otherwise stated in the conditions of competition, a player may get information on the distance by using an instrument that only measures the distance. If a player, during a stipulated round, uses a rangefinder which is designed to indicate or measure other conditions that might affect his play (e.g. slope, wind speed, temperature, etc.), this is in breach of Rule 14-3, and the player will be disqualified, regardless of whether he has used these functions or not.
Temporary markings and boundaries are immovable obstructions. Relief under Rule 24-2.
